First-Time Homebuyer Counseling
Services for First-Time Homebuyers are offered by ECD Homeownership, the HUD-approved housing counseling division of Episcopal Community Development.
The First-Time Homebuyer Course, generally offered monthly, provides an incredible opportunity for anyone to learn what he or she needs to know to navigate the homebuying process. Whether you are planning on buying a home in the next month or a few years down the road, the budgeting and credit rebuilding skills you learn will benefit you for a lifetime. Other key topics included in the course are:
The First-Time Homebuyer Class consists of two sessions: a one-day class from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a one-on-one session with Homeownership Counselor Kila Lewis scheduled at your convenience.
